What’s mean Social Tourism or Tourism for all is an
activity that it allows a several part of the people that don´t have the
economical possibility for to travel and either enjoy the commercial tourism,
but they have the human needs like of recreation, rest, amusement and of
knowing other environments, though in limited form.
It
is a kind of modest tourism that
has more connection with the nature; it is familiar without luxuries. A lot of
time it is administered by associations with interest of profit, it is a social
service.

Reaching such objectives would contribute to:
Generate
economic activity and growth across Europe (by facilitating the development of European tourism programs
for target groups).
Increase the
European citizenship (providing tangible opportunities to improve
mobility, self-fulfillment, socializing and active learning for families,
youths and seniors).
Participants must be nationals of EU Member States and Candidate
Countries and must belong to one of the following categories of target groups:
a) Over 65 years of age or pensioners / early retired citizens that
receives pension benefits;
b) All Young aged between 18 and 30 years;
c) Disabled adult citizens, together with one accompanying person (if is
necessary);
d) Families (children, parents and/or grandparents) certified by their
country's coordinating authority as facing difficult social (financial,
personal and/or disability) circumstances.
